Raashi Khanna Comes On Board For Ustaad Bhagat Singh

Ustaad Bhagat Singh started as a remake of Vijay Thalapathy’s hit film Theri but the shoot faced several delays and production issues.

Meanwhile, the Hindi remake Baby John flopped badly which made people doubt whether Ustaad Bhagat Singh would continue.

In response, director Harish Shankar decided not to make a scene-by-scene remake. Instead, he kept the main story but added his own changes and resumed shooting.

At one point, there were rumors that the film would have only one heroine opposite Pawan Kalyan, unlike the original Theri, which had Samantha as the wife and Amy Jackson as the teacher.

However, with Raashi Khanna now officially joining the cast, it’s clear the film is staying close to the Theri storyline.

Raashi is expected to play the wife’s role, while Sreeleela takes on the teacher’s role. Meanwhile, the makers, Mythri Movie Makers, warned fans not to share leaked photos from the film’s sets.
