Pushpa now goes international

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise, directed by Sukumar, was released in December last year, and while the film received a mixed response in the Telugu states, it turned out to be a major blockbuster in the Hindi and Tamil markets. The film became so successful that famous celebrities started emulating Allu Arjun’s mannerisms from the film.

The songs of Pushpa also turned out to be major chartbusters, with Srivalli taking the cake. While Saami Saami and Oo Antava have also made their mark, it is Srivalli that has become a musical favourite. Music composer Devi Sri Prasad has now taken this song international, by getting an English version of the song done. Sung by Emma Heesters, this serves as a cover song to the original, with English lyrics.

On the other hand, the work on the second part of Pushpa is yet to begin, while the film is scheduled to release in December this year. All of the main cast will be returning, and a few additional cast members are also expected to be included.
