Police Working Wonders at US Box Office
Vijay’s new release, Police, has not done very well in the Telugu markets but it has been acing it in the US box office. The Tamil version Theri, entered the 100-crore club, which was a hattrick for Vijay. Samantha also scored her second hit in Tamil, the first one too was with Vijay.
The best bit is that Theri ended the the lacklusture run for both the lead actors — the film is the first ever $1 million film for Vijay and Samantha. The film was helmed by Atlee and Kalaipuli S Thanu produced it.
