Atlee & Salman Project Shelved: Budget Issues To Blame?

After the huge success of Jawan, Tamil director Atlee received many offers from Bollywood. He was interested in making a film with Salman Khan, and it was almost confirmed.

Atlee was also looking for another lead actor with names like Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth being rumored. But unexpectedly, the project with Salman Khan was dropped.

Now, Atlee is set to work with Allu Arjun on a massive film, while Salman has moved on to his next project. During the promotions of his film Sikandar, Salman spoke about Atlee’s movie.

“Atlee wrote a big-budget action film, but it’s delayed, possibly due to budget issues. I don’t know who the other lead actor is. Big collaborations need the right script. I have now moved on to my next film,” said Salman.

Salman is currently working with director AR Murugadoss on Sikandar, which releases on Sunday.
