Plot
Sarvesh, his father, is interested in filmmaking, but Vijay wants to be an illustrator for children’s books. Vijay dislikes movies and thinks everything about them is made up. One day, a movie producer approaches Sarvesh to rent his home so that a movie starring renowned actress Sameera Rathore can be shot. To Vijay’s dismay, Sarvesh instantly agrees, hoping to realize his childhood dream of becoming an actor.
Despite a few small annoyances, the whole family—aside from Vijay—begins to enjoy the shoot as soon as it starts. Sameera finds it difficult to talk in Telugu and strives to express herself. She asks Vijay to be her language tutor after seeing that the family is making fun of her, and he accepts. Sameera stays away from Kishore Babu, the main actor in the film, by spending more time with Vijay and his family. After realizing Sameera is not the kind of movie star he had imagined, Vijay begins to fall in love with her. Later, Sameera departs once the shooting in the house is concluded.
A few days later, Sameera’s filming location in Manali is visited by Vijay, who is utterly enamored with her, and he declares his love. Sameera gently declines his offer, informing him that she has never experienced such emotions. Vijay exits the place, disappointed. Meanwhile, the movie that was filmed at their home is out. The part Sarvesh had promised is cut short, and without his permission, Vijay’s emotional exchanges with Sameera are used as dialogue.
Furthermore, Sameera asserts on a television program that she penned the line herself. Enraged Vijay immediately contacts the show under a false identity and demands that Sameera confess the truth, but she refuses. Sameera shows up at his residence to make amends with him after apparently realizing that Vijay was the one who called the program. However, Vijay rejects her angrily.
A few days later, Vijay learns that Sameera suffered serious injuries when she fell off her building and was taken to the hospital. Vijay visits the hospital and runs across Sameera’s manager there. She tells him that Sameera’s predicament is caused by her buddy Amit Malhotra. As aspiring performers, Amit and Sameera began their career together, but Amit never succeeded in being noticed. Amit took advantage of Sameera’s achievements and finally developed a jealousy complex.
Despite Sameera’s best efforts to keep him at bay, he never failed to harass Sameera. Sameera was able to find calm in the midst of things when Vijay was by her side and she truly loved him. Amit vows to kill Sameera after learning that she is in love. After that, Sameera makes every effort to keep Vijay’s identity a secret from Amit.
Amit pays Sameera a visit one day and offers her a role in a Bollywood movie, provided she spends the night with the movie’s producer. Additionally, he threatens to destroy Sameera’s career by exposing her old films to the public. When Sameera hears this, she slaps him angrily, and Amit responds by slapping her back, unintentionally pushing her out of the balcony. When Sameera tells Vijay the real meaning of love, he also finds out that the conversation was stolen by the film’s writer.
Vijay intends to chastise Amit after discovering that he has been misinterpreting Sameera all along. When Amit persists in harassing Sameera, Vijay, his friends, and his father threaten to kill him. This makes Amit feel afraid. The pictures and films are retrieved, and they request that he depart for Mumbai.
The same evening, Sameera makes a full recovery and shows up as the special guest for Vijay’s children’s book launch. Vijay apologizes there and makes another proposal to Sameera, which she gladly accepts. Later, Vijay’s mother receives a call from a major production company asking for her catering services, and Sarvesh gets cast in an upcoming movie. Next, Sameera and Vijay can be seen cuddling up on the patio, clearly in love with one another.
