Haiku

Story:

Haiku is a 2026 Indian romantic drama that explores love, youthful mistakes, relationships and the importance of respecting another person’s choices. Directed by Yuvaraj Chinnasamy, the film stars Aegan, Sridevi Apalla and Femina George in the lead roles. The story follows Mano, a young man whose college experiences and romantic relationships influence the person he becomes as he grows older.

Mano’s journey takes an unexpected turn when he ends up as the only male student at a women’s college. There, he falls for Pavalakodi, and their relationship brings moments of affection, humour and emotional conflict. However, love is not always as simple as it first appears. Jealousy, misunderstandings and personal insecurities begin to affect the relationship. Years later, Mano’s experiences continue to shape how he approaches love and connects with others.

The film combines campus comedy with a more mature exploration of relationships, self-respect and emotional growth. Sridevi Apalla plays an important role in Mano’s romantic journey, while Femina George adds another dimension to the story. The supporting cast includes Adhirchi Arun, Subramaniya Sethu, Mime Gopi, Adhiyaman and Indumathy Manikandan. With music composed by Siddhu Kumar and cinematography by Priyesh Gurusamy, Haiku aims to offer a relatable romantic story about growing up, learning from mistakes and understanding that genuine love requires more than simply having feelings for someone.
