Butta Bomma

Story:

“Butta Bomma” (translated as “Basket Doll”) is a Telugu-language romantic action thriller film released in 2023. Directed by Shouree Chandrashekhar T. Ramesh in his directorial debut, the film is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

A remake of the 2020 Malayalam film “Kappela,” “Butta Bomma” features Anikha Surendran, Arjun Das, and Surya Vashistta in lead roles. The film’s title is inspired by the song of the same name from the 2020 Telugu film “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.”

Plot

Satya (played by Anikha Surendran) accidentally dials Murali’s (played by Surya Vashistta) number. As they continue talking regularly, they develop feelings for each other. However, when they plan to meet in Vizag, their plans are disrupted by the arrival of Ramakrishna “RK” (played by Arjun Das), which changes the course of their romantic story.
