TheatreMahavatar Narsimha is helmed by director Ashwin Kumar and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under the banner of Kleem Productions. Designed to be a visual spectacle steeped in cultural depth, the film is set for a grand 3D release on July 25, 2025, across five major Indian languages.
The film marks the beginning of the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe—an ambitious storytelling saga that will unfold over the next decade. This epic series will depict the ten divine incarnations of Lord Vishnu, beginning with Mahavatar Narsimha and concluding with Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 in 2037.
Plot
Hiranyakashyap, a powerful demon king, declares himself to be the supreme deity, defying Lord Vishnu. Despite his father’s tyranny, Prahlad, his son, remains a steadfast devotee of Vishnu. In response to Hiranyakashyap’s growing arrogance and persecution of the righteous, Vishnu manifests as Narasimha—a fierce half-man, half-lion incarnation—to restore balance and destroy the evil king.
