Meet Simar Bhatia, Akshay Kumar’s Niece Set To Make Her Bollywood Debut With Ikkis

Bollywood action star Akshay Kumar took to social media on Monday morning to share a post, sending good wishes to his niece Simar for her Bollywood debut. Simar Bhatia is all set to make her debut with Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis this year. She will share the screen with Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda.

Sharing a newspaper article featuring Simar, Akshay penned a heartfelt note that read: “I remember the first time I saw my photo on the cover of the newspaper. I thought that’s the ultimate happiness. But today I know the happiness of seeing your child’s photo here beats everything. I wish my mom was here today and she would have said ‘Simar puttar tu tah Kamaal hai’. Bless you my baby, the sky is yours.”

Who Is Simar Bhatia?

Ever since Akshay Kumar’s post went viral, everybody has been eagerly wanting to know more about Simar. While not much information is available about her on the internet, Simar Bhatia is the daughter of actor Akshay Kumar’s sister, Alka Bhatia. Reportedly, Alka has produced several films with Akshay but prefers to stay away from the limelight. About Ikkis

Ikkis, meaning “twenty-one,” is a war-drama movie that also stars legendary actor Dharmendra and Jaideep Ahlawat. The movie is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his heroism in the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. Reportedly, Ikkis revolves around the relationship between a father and son during the 1971 Indo-Pak War. The movie is produced under the banner of Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and is slated to release in 2025.
