The issues around the movie “Indian 3” have been resolved clearing the way for the smooth release of “Game Changer” in Tamil Nadu.
Earlier, a dispute between Lyca Productions and director Shankar over “Indian 3” caused uncertainty about the release of “Game Changer”. Initial talks failed to find a solution.
In the final discussions, both sides reached an agreement. Shankar agreed to a reduced salary for “Indian 3,” and some pending issues will be addressed after Kamal Haasan returns from the U.S. Lyca Productions accepted reshooting certain scenes but did not approve a new song Shankar wanted to include.
With the “Indian 3” issues resolved, work on the Tamil Nadu release of “Game Changer” has picked up speed. Theater deals are being finalized, and Rockfort Entertainment will distribute the film in the state.
Game Changer stars Ram Charan, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, the film is set to release worldwide on January 10th.
