Recent reports claimed that Sivaji Productions the makers of Chandramukhi demanded Rs 5 crore from Nayanthara for using footage in her documentary.
However a new No Objection Certificate circulating online suggests otherwise.
A few weeks ago Dhanush sent a notice to Nayanthara her husband and Netflix India asking for Rs. 10cr for using unauthorized visuals from his film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.
As for the Chandramukhi footage the news about the Rs. 5cr demand seems to be a rumor. Sivaji Productions has clarified that Nayanthara did obtain an No Objection Certificate for using the footage.
The Certificate confirmed that they had no objection to the footage being included in the Netflix documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale.
Sivaji Productions has issued a no-objection letter, granting permission to use clips from Chandramukhi in the documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale. @Chrissuccess nalla paru no objection letter ah @Thanglish_cafe it’s time to post this on your page. #Nayantharapic.twitter.com/kmxBFcDnW3
