Mallesham director in awe with Priyadarshi

Talking to the media on the other day, as part of promotions for Mallesham, director and producer R Raj has said that no other actor could have pulled out the role of Mallesham, better than Priyadarshi.

Mallesham is a biopic on Chintakindi Mallesham, who has won a Padmashree award for his invention of power machine for handloom weavers. Talking to the media, the director said, “I initially had actors like Vijay Deevrakonda and Nani in mind. But when I watched Darshi performing in his recent films, I thought no one else can do the role of Mallesham better than Darshi. I went and narrated him the script and he just wanted to be part of it and I must say that he did justice to the role.”

Mallesham has Ananya as the leading lady and the role of Mallesham’s mother was played by Jhansi, and she nailed the role is what we have heard.
