The highly awaited sequel to the “Indian” blockbuster movie starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role and directed by S. Shankar, titled either “Indian -2” or “Bharateeyudu -2”, grabs the attention and expectation of cinephiles every time the news comes on. Then it turns out that the launch is not going according to the plan.
Reportedly, it has been set up for its release on the 27th of June, 2024 at the beginning and the rumours are that there will be a possible postponement, but it’s yet to be done officially. The film somehow got caught in film production limbo but Udhayanidhi Stalin borrowed a chance, and relaunched it in production.
But the balance of the Kollywood industry has been broken due to the movie delays, which have been drawn for a long time now. However, while Shankar is busy with the production of “Indian 2” and “Game Changer“, which Ram plays, Srivraj will be solely in charge of “Chiyaan’s Project”.
At the initial stages of the affairs Lyca Productions asked us to give preference to “Indian 2” but there were adverse effects – a lawsuit was filed. On completion of shooting both of the flicks, the post has handling of the production as the focus of attention. Additionally, these worries have taken a back seat when it comes to sorting out the operational details to finish both these films.
