An irate director is outraged with Salman Khan for choosing Venkatesh Daggubati, a major actor, for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and then treating him this way.
The Telugu actor Venkatesh is a favorite of some viewers of Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, as are some diehard Bhai fans. Though it appears that Venkatesh fans feel duped by the amount of screen time their favorite actor received in the movie, they are outraged that the movie has disturbed them.
According to some circulating rumors, the Telugu actor, who is extremely well-liked in the south, only received a few scenes here and there that were not significant enough to excite his supporters.
Fans of Venky Mama are angry with Salman Khan for utilizing Venkatesh inappropriately, as a matter of fact. Even if he consented to participate in the movie as a favor, his part in the movie ought to have been tailored to fit his stature.
The filmmaker from Andhra said, “Venkatesh is a supporting actor in the film! His fans haven’t appreciated this one bit. In Andhra, Venkatesh’s fans presumed he would have an equal role to Salman. But Venkatesh makes his entry midway. And even then Salman takes all the credit for defeating the villains in the climax. You must understand Venkatesh comes from a family of distinguished actors in Telugu cinema. They won’t tolerate him being sidelined.”
According to some reports, the director was reportedly irate that Salman Khan did not respect and acknowledge the importance of such a big actor joining the cast of his movie. He expressed more dissatisfaction by saying, “You can’t serve me dry bread just because I readily agree to come to your house for dinner. The role had to match Venkatesh’s stature. Just why he agreed to do this, is beyond comprehension.”
For the unpopular Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Ram Charan made a special cameo appearance in addition to Jagpathi Babu, who played the villain.
Another group of internet users, however, were pleased to see the Drushyam actor in the movie. It’s interesting to note that in 1993, Venkatesh made his Hindi film debut with Anari, starring alongside Karisma Kapoor. The song from the movie Phoolon sa Chehra Tera is still regarded as a masterpiece. The 1993 Eid release of the movie was very favorably appreciated.
