Chiyaan61 to Go on the Floors Shortly

It is already reported that Tamil star Vikram’s new film under the direction of Pa. Ranjith had a formal launch a couple of months back. Being bankrolled by reputed Kollywood producer KG Gnanavel Raja, the film is tentatively titled Chiyaan 61.

Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that the film will commence its regular shooting from Monday. Reports suggest that a vast set is erected for the film at one of the studios in Chennai and the shooting will kick-start in the same location.

Our Kollywood sources reveal that Pa.Ranjith will be canning a few important scenes on Vikram in the first schedule which will last for more than ten days. As the film marks the first time collaboration of Vikram and Pa.Ranjith, the expectations on the film are high among moviegoers.

This Studio Green production venture has its music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. One of the leading South Indian heroines is likely to do the female lead role in the movie.
