Vikram’s Hefty Pay For Veera Dheera Sooran Sparks Discussion

Vikram, known for his award-winning performances, has struggled to deliver consistent super hits. Over time, he lost his Telugu market, and top production houses are hesitant to back his films.

His latest movie, Veera Dheera Sooran received positive reviews and had a decent opening weekend in Tamil Nadu. However in Telugu states, the film’s collections were very poor causing heavy losses for distributors.

Vikram charged Rs. 30 crores for the film, which is quite high compared to his market value.

The movie itself was made on a Rs. 30 crore budget excluding his remuneration. Despite the setbacks, Vikram is set to work on the prequel of Veera Dheera Sooran, which is planned for release next year.

Directed by SU Arun Kumar, Veera Dheera Sooran is a rural mass entertainer.
