Indian cinematographer William David was born in Sakleshpur on June 26, 1983. He is well renowned for his work with filmmaker Anup Bhandari in Rangitaranga. William began his career as a co-DOP for advertisements. He has worked in the top regional film industries in India, including Hindi and Kannada. He has worked on a few documentaries, live studio performances with top singers and corporate filmmakers, and advertisements for leading Indian businesses. William is renowned for his death-defying behind-the-scenes acrobats, going to great lengths to make sure he executes the shot as his director had envisioned.
In order to get stunning results while maintaining the security of his equipment, he would locate some practically difficult locations for his camera. William began working as a cameraman for Shivashankar’s “Shivani” in 2008. Following that, he collaborated with N Venugopal Nayak on the 2009 film “Minchu,” a remake of the 2006 Tamil film Thimiru. He has worked in Hindi and Marathi films before entering the Kannada film industry.
