Vishal Vashishtha

Biography:

In Kolkata, India, on February 13, 1992, Vishal Vashishtha was born.  His interest in acting prompted him to try out for a job on the small screen, even though his initial plans were to become a chartered accountant. He speaks Bengali and Hindi well in addition to English. Vishal wed Deepakshi Mishra, the childhood sweetheart.

In 2013, Vishal made his debut in the Hindi television industry with the youth drama Crazy Stupid Ishq from Sphere Origins, which aired on Channel V India.[citation needed] as ‘Ayaan Dixit’ with Aneri Vajani, Harsh Rajput, and Hiba Nawab. He made an appearance in an MTV Webbed episode (Ep.11) that same year.

Later, he played “Baldev Singh” opposite Digangana Suryavanshi in Yash A Patnaik’s Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera on Star Plus (2013).  He played “Anil” in the fifth episode of Vikas Gupta’s Yeh Hai Aashiqui, which was aired by Bindass in 2015.

Vishal joined the cast of &TV’s Television Drama Series Gangaa in the last quarter of 2015, playing “Sagar Chaturvedi” opposite Aditi Sharma. For this role, he received a Zed Gold Award nomination for Best Actor. In January 2017, he left the series.
