Vijay Dharan Datla

Biography:

Vijay Dharan Datla, born in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, faced early challenges, losing his father during childhood. Raised by his mother, he pursued a Business Management degree at Andhra University before delving into theatre arts under Natasha Chandra’s mentorship.

Learning stunt skills and gymnastics, he honed his craft during theatre days. Inspired by Tarun Kumar and the film ‘Teja,’ he caught the attention of director Krishna Varma during auditions, securing his debut in the movie ‘Play.’

Despite initial family resistance, he persevered for eight years to attain the lead role. A Rajinikanth and Pawan Kalyan fan, Vijay’s second film, “Kavvintha,” pairs him with Diksha Panth, directed by Vijay Chowdary Tripuraneni.
