Biography:

In addition to directing, Venkat Kuchipudi also produces motion pictures. The date of his birth was November 8, 1970. Most of his work is associated with the Telugu cinema industry. He is an anarchist who supports people’s right to creative freedom. Modati Cinema was the first film he ever starred in. He was born in Raghudevpuram, a village close to Rajahmundry.

He attended the LPS in Guntur. He finished his class 11 and class 12 studies at Chennai. Venkat wanted to enroll in a film school as soon as he graduated from high school, but his parents insisted that he earn a degree from Hyderabad before entering the business so that he would have a safety net in case his filmmaking career didn’t work out.

Thus, in 1990, he completed his studies and obtained his degree. Venkat had always desired to be a film director. For the same, he needed financial backing, which he lacked at the time. He worked in many fields in order to make money. He was prepared to produce and direct a film for himself because he was so passionate about directing a picture. With time, Venkat accumulated expertise and rose to the position of director. He saw several films and honed his craft by studying other people’s directing techniques.

Venkat has never held a position as a seasoned director’s assistant. Making his movies taught him all he needed to know on the job. He benefited much from his practice of constantly viewing great works. He felt that each time he saw a film, he should focus on a new facet of the craft. It was a romantic tale with plenty of entertainment value. Although it was well-received by critics, the general public did not share this sentiment.
