Varun Sood

Biography:

On April 1, 1995, Sood was born in Kolkata, West Bengal’s Calcutta. Delhi was his upbringing. Varun had originally intended to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who were also Indian Army veterans. Army Public School was the site of his primary school studies. He participated in national competitions for shot put and basketball during his time in school and college.

Benafsha Soonawalla and Sood dated in 2017, but their relationship ended shortly after Soonawalla’s Bigg Boss 11 appearance.

He began dating Divya Agarwal in 2018. On MTV Roadies, MTV Ace of Space, and Ragini MMS: Returns, they collaborated. They ended their romance in March 2022 after four years together.

After working as a fitness trainer for a while, Varun became an MTV VJ. After that, Sood began taking part in reality TV. Thus far, he has appeared in several reality series, such as Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11; MTV Roadies season 12; MTV Splitsvilla season 9; Ace of Space 1; and MTV Roadies: Real Heroes.

He debuted as an actor in ALTBalaji’s Ragini MMS: Returns in 2019, playing Rahul opposite Divya Agarwal. He had a cameo in Jugjugg Jeeyo, directed by Karan Johar, in 2022, playing Gaurav, the character opposite Prajakta Koli. He appeared on SonyLIV in season 2 of Potluck in 2023 as Jacob.

He costarred with Raveena Tandon and Namrata Sheth in Disney+ Hotstar’s Karmma Calling in January 2024 as Ahaan Kothari. Later  that year, he starred with Ananya Panday in Call Me Bae and opposite Helly Shah in Naam Namak Nishan on Amazon Prime Video On Discovery Channel, he was also the host of Reality Ranis of the Jungle.
