Utkarshini Vashishtha is an Indian screenwriter known for her work in Bollywood. She gained recognition for her scripting contributions to films such as “Gangubai Kathiawadi” (2022), “Sarbjit” (2016), and “Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela” (2013). Additionally, she served as the Associate and Creative Director for India’s Got Talent. Vashishtha came into prominence when “Sarbjit,” a film for which she wrote the screenplay and dialogue, was screened at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and made it to the long list of contenders for the 88th Academy Awards.
