Upendra Madhav is a Telugu film screenwriter, director, and dialogue writer best recognized for his work in the genre. He is well-known for his contributions to box office smashes such as Baadshah, Dookudu, Aagadu, and Bruce Lee – The Fighter.
He came to the Telugu cinema business with the intention of becoming a filmmaker. He served as an associate director for Priyadarshini Ram on Manodu and Toss, and he directed some business and government films. He would be offered a position in the direction department of big-budget films, but one thing led to another, and he became a screenwriter, including work as an associate writer for Dookudu, which led to more screenwriting. MLA, his first feature film as a director, was released in 2018.
