Takuya Kimura is a Japanese actor, singer, and radio personality who was born on November 13, 1972. After becoming successful as an actor, he is considered a Japanese icon. In addition, he was a well-liked member of SMAP, one of the Asian boy bands with the highest sales. He has been chosen Japan’s hottest man by readers of one magazine for 15 years running, making him a sex symbol and a major heartthrob in the country’s media.
His first major appearance was in the 1996 television drama series Long Vacation, which became a huge hit and gave rise to the term “Lon-bake phenomenon.” He was dubbed “The King of Ratings” because each of his later TV shows became a social phenomenon as it aired and continued to receive great ratings.
