Biography:

Swathi Raghuraaman is an Indian filmmaker, writer, and creative producer with her work spanning across Tamil films as well as digital entertainment. She started out her career in films and advertisements, gaining experience in creative as well as production fields before venturing out into feature films and streaming shows. She has been a part of award-winning Tamil films like Super Deluxe (2019), wherein she had been the executive producer of the film, and The Madras Song, which saw her as an associate director. This helped in building her profile as a creative producer and filmmaker with knowledge of both the production and directing side.

Swathi Raghuraaman made her presence felt in the world of streaming with her involvement in Amazon Prime Video’s Tamil family drama Sweet Kaaram Coffee (2023). Swathi Raghuraaman was among the three directors of the series, along with Bejoy Nambiar and Krishna Marimuthu. She had directed three episodes of the series and written four other episodes besides being the associate creative producer of the entire series. The series is about three generations of women, played by actresses Lakshmi, Madhoo, and Santhy Balachandran, who undertake a journey of self-realization and independence.
