Swastika Mukherjee is an Indian actress primarily known for her work in Bengali and Hindi films and television. She is the daughter of actor Santu Mukhopadhyay.
Mukherjee began her career with the Bengali TV series Devdasi and made her film debut with Hemanter Pakhi in 2001. Her first leading role was in Mastan (2004), opposite Jeet. She ventured into Hindi cinema with her debut in Mumbai Cutting (2008).
Born on December 13, 1980, Mukherjee married Promit Sen, son of Rabindra Sangeet singer Sagar Sen, in 1998 at the age of 18. The marriage ended after two years, with Sen filing for divorce in 2000. They separated in 2010 when Mukherjee moved to Bristol. She has one daughter, Anwesha, born in 2000.
