Biography:

Actress Sushma Raj has experience in the Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada film industries. Sushma Raj was born on January 19, 1991, into a Telugu family that has made Bangalore their home. Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka, is where she was raised. Prior to beginning her acting career, she studied fashion design. Her natural affinity for Telugu films stems from the fact that her mother is from Andhra Pradesh.

Although she is frequently likened to actress Anushka Shetty, we are confident that she is special in her own right. A Kannada filmmaker noticed her when she participated in modeling and fashion events as part of her curriculum prior to breaking into the film industry.

She made her debut in the romantic Kannada film Madarangi, for which she won numerous accolades. Madarangi became popular despite receiving very little promotion, which attracted the actress more roles. In the Telugu psychological thriller Maaya, the actress achieved a whole new level of success.

Her first big-screen role came from this movie. She was consequently spotted in the movie Joru, which wasn’t a huge hit. She later acted in N Anand’s Tamil romantic comedy India Pakistan, in which she played a lawyer opposite the dashing actor Vijay Antony. She is presently filming Nayaki and Jindhaa, two movies that will be released in Telugu and Tamil in 2016.
