Biography:

Surya Tej is a well-known actor in Telugu movies and television serials, with Telugu as his mother tongue. He resides in Amalapuram, Konaseema, East Godavari district. He is versatile, having worked in anchoring, telefilms, and various roles in Teluguone, accumulating 15 years of experience in the industry.

He gained recognition through his work in serials, where he portrayed roles ranging from villain to hero, brother, and brother-in-law, achieving fame in nearly 10 serials. He has a preference for non-vegetarian food and enjoys resting in his free time. As a child, many noted his resemblance to Venkatesh, sparking his interest in acting.

In the serial “Laya,” he played the character Sharath, and he has acted in 38 movies. His career began in movies before transitioning to serials. In the serial “Bharyamani,” he portrayed the character Kiran and has also appeared in Marathi serials. His favorite serial is “Egire Pavurama,” and he played a villainous role in “Amruthavarsham.”

He credits his learning to his experiences in movies, where he also worked as an assistant director. Teja harbors a desire to direct a movie of his own and currently hosts “Maa Review Maa Istam” on Teluguone, where he provides movie reviews. He praised the film “Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu” in one of his reviews. Presently, he is acting in the serial “Anubhandhalu,” playing the role of Meena’s brother-in-law. He has also portrayed a villain in “Sri Krishnavatharalu” and admires the dialogues of Sai Kumar. In the serial “Sravani Subramanyam,” he appeared as a police officer.
