Sunil Thapa

Biography:

Actor Sunil Thapa is from Nepal and has acted in Bhojpuri, Bollywood, and Nepali movies. He made his film debut in Ek Duuje Ke Liye, a Bollywood production. He is a mysterious character in the Nepali film industry who has received numerous honors, including two Motion Pictures Awards Nepal. His evil roles in Nepali films have made him well-liked.

Thapa began working as a model in 1974 for Binny’s and Mafatlal Fabrics in Mumbai, then known as Bombay.
He participated in sports as a child as well, playing professional football for Orkay’s Sports Club and ICL Club Bombay.

In addition to his career in acting and sports, he was a photojournalist for JS Magazine (Junior Statesman), where he documented the 1974 Bhutan Coronation. His outstanding performance in Mary Kom earned him a nomination for a 2014 Filmfare Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He has been employed by the Nepali film “Sher Bahadur” as of late.
