His acting journey commenced in Kolkata in 1999, where he became actively involved in various television shows, showcasing his diverse talent.

Notably, Sudipto Balav assumed the role of a host for MTV Bakra, demonstrating his charisma and versatility in the entertainment industry. However, it was in 2009 that he marked his debut as an antagonist in the Malayalam film “2 Harihar Nagar,” showcasing his ability to adapt to different regional film industries.
