Steven Yeun

Biography:

American actor Sang-yeop Yeun born December 21, 1983, better known by his stage name Steven Yeun He became well-known for his role as Glenn Rhee in the 2010–2016 television series The Walking Dead. He received praise from critics for the movies Minari (2020) and Burning (2018). He was the first East Asian-American to receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor because of the latter. In 2021, Time magazine listed him as one of the world’s 100 most important individuals. Yeun won the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Limited Series and Outstanding Lead Actor for the Netflix dark comedy series Beef (2023), in which he both produced and starred.

Additionally, Yeun starred in the movies Nope (2022), The Humans (2021), Okja (2017), and Sorry to Bother You (2018). In animated television shows including Voltron: Legendary Defender (2016–2018), Tales of Arcadia (2016–2021), Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters (2017–2018), Final Space (2018–2021), Tuca & Bertie (2019–2022), and Invincible (2021–present), he has also provided voices for key characters.
