Srikanth Mohan

Biography:

Srikanth Mohan, alternatively called Sreekanth Mohan, is an Indian film director and actor whose work has predominantly been in Malayalam cinema and independent entertainment. Srikanth started his career as an associate director and assistant director in several Malayalam films, such as Dakini (2018), The False Eye (2020), Kho Kho (2021), and Madhuram (2021). He was also a chief associate director in Keedam (2022) and Tholvi F.C. (2023), gaining a lot of experience in directing Malayalam feature films before venturing into independent film direction.

His directorial debut film is the Malayalam SonyLIV original Jai Mahendran (2024), which he directed in addition to writing and creating, along with Rahul Riji Nair. Starring in the film are actors Saiju Kurup, Suhasini Maniratnam, and Miya George, with its six episodes portraying a political drama through humor and satire. It talks about bureaucracy, office politics, power, and repercussions that follow an ordinary government official’s actions. Apart from direction, Srikanth Mohan is also an actor in several Malayalam movies, including Madhuram, Tholvi F.C., Madhura Manohara Moham, and Mukundan Unni Associates.
