Biography:

Soumik Sen is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and music composer who works primarily in the Hindi film industry and in digital content. Soumik’s initial endeavors included writing for movies like Anthony Kaun Hai?, Ru Ba Ru, Meerabai Not Out, and Hum Tum Aur Ghost. The Indian filmmaker’s directorial debut was Gulaab Gang (2014), featuring actresses Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla. Some of his notable films include Why Cheat India (2019) and Mahalaya (2019), the latter being a Bengali biographical movie.

In the online world of OTT content, Soumik Sen has created some fantastic shows. These include Skyfire (2019), a political thriller, Nakaab (2021), a crime thriller web series, and the recently launched Jubilee (2023), an OTT series which has been appreciated by audiences due to its depiction of the golden era of Hindi cinema.
