Biography:

Sonnalli A Sajnani, born on May 1, 1989, is an Indian actress best known for her debut in the 2011 film “Pyaar Ka Punchnama,” directed by Luv Ranjan. Her portrayal of Rhea opposite Rayo Bakhirta as Vikrant Chaudhary earned her recognition. She reprised her role in the sequel “Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2” and appeared in “Wedding Pullav,” both released simultaneously on October 16.

Before entering the film industry, Sonnalli worked as a ramp model and later participated in the Miss India Worldwide competition. Her portfolio includes music videos for artists like Prem (Times) and Dr. Zeus (Studio One). She has showcased her anchoring skills at live events for prominent brands such as Reebok, Castrol, Indiatimes, Filmfare, Times of India, and the reality show “Dadagiri.” Additionally, she has performed at the Indian Embassy in Russia.

Sonnalli furthered her acting career by playing the lead role in “Jai Mummy Di,” a romantic comedy featuring Sunny Singh, Supriya Pathak, and Poonam Dillon, directed by Navjot Gulati. The film hit the screens on January 17, 2020. Recently, she appeared in an advertisement alongside Salman Khan for Thums Up.
