Biography:
Marcus Licinius Crassus, played by English actor Simon Merrells in Spartacus: War of the Damned, is his most well-known role.
Three years before his brother Jason Merrells, Merrells was born in London. After enrolling in acting school, he quickly quit to work as a minicab driver in order to pay for his trip to Mexico, where he painted. When he returned to England, he got involved with fringe theater in Brighton, where his brother lived.
