Biography:

Simarpreet Singh is a Bollywood filmmaker, writer, and director famous for his works in the Hindi digital entertainment. Simarpreet Singh started his career at The Viral Fever (TVF), where he directed several episodes of the coming-of-age comedy College Romance, thus contributing greatly to the success of this youth-focused series and making it one of the most watched web series in India. Some of the digital productions that Simarpreet directed include Brochara (2019) and Office Gossip (2019).

His next big work was as the director of SonyLIV’s ensemble comedy-drama series, which tells about the effects of the digital world on people’s relationships, identities, and connections. Moreover, he directed a romantic comedy Half Love Half Arranged (2023). In 2024, Simarpreet made his feature film directorial debut with Netflix comedy movie Wild Wild Punjab starring Varun Sharma, Sunny Singh, Manjot Singh, Jassie Gill, and Patralekhaa. Famous for his colorful cinematography, youthful storytelling, and character-based plots, Simarpreet Singh is one of the promising directors in India’s OTT and digital entertainment scene.
