Biography:

Shruti Pathak is a talented Indian playback singer and lyricist, recognized for her contributions to the Hindi film industry. Hailing from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, she ventured into Mumbai after completing her master’s degree in Psychology, determined to pursue her passion for singing.

Pathak embarked on her singing journey through various remix albums, notably gaining attention with “Leke Pehla Pehla Pyaar” in the Baby Doll series (2004). Her breakthrough came with the song “Mar Jawa” from the film Fashion (2008), earning her widespread recognition and nominations at prestigious awards like Filmfare and Screen Awards.

Beyond her vocal prowess, Pathak displayed her lyrical talent by co-writing the song “Payaliya” for Dev.D (2009). Her creative contributions expanded further with “Shubhaarambh,” a song she penned for Amit Trivedi in the film Kai Po Che in 2013.

Apart from her film work, Pathak has graced numerous stage shows, including appearances at notable cultural events and festivals across various universities and platforms. Her presence in Coke Studio India across three seasons showcased her versatility, delivering soulful renditions such as ‘Kya Haal Sunawan,’ ‘Glorious,’ ‘Shedding Skin,’ and ‘Haal Ve Rabba.’ She also mesmerized audiences on MTV Unplugged season 4 alongside Sachin-Jigar and was part of the show The Dewarists.

Pathak’s musical journey was influenced by her early training in classical music under the guidance of her guru, Shree Divyang Thakkar. Her dedication and multifaceted talents have established her as a prominent figure in the Indian music industry.
