Shiva Varma

Biography:

Shiva Varma is an Indian film director, writer, and editor whose expertise lies in creating digitally entertaining content in Hindi. As a veteran of over a decade of experience in this field, he started his journey directing short films, music videos, and ads, collaborating with top production studios like Zee Studios, Jio Studios, Viacom18, Hungama Digital, and ZEE5. Editing background has helped him in creating visually pleasing and narratively strong work.

He has started his career with directing the award-winning mini-series The Presage (2017). Some of his works include the movie Hawa Badle Hassu (2019), Laal Ishq, Kashmakash: Kya Sahi Kya Galat, Bajao (2023), Fuh se Fantasy (2023), and ZEE5 romantic comedy series Pyaar Testing (2025) which was directed along with Saptaraj Chakraborty. Not only in directing, but he has also written and edited some of his work.

Contemporary stories, good visuals, and relatable characters have become trademarks of Shiva Varma making him one of the most promising filmmakers of India’s OTT world.
