Initially, she worked as a jingle singer for three years, honing her skills and making her mark in the industry.
Her Bollywood career began with the song “Tose Naina” from Anwar in 2007, marking a stellar debut. The track soared in popularity, becoming one of the standout songs of that year. Her subsequent songs like “Woh Ajnabi” from The Train (2007) and “Khuda Jaane” from Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) further solidified her place in the industry. “Khuda Jaane” earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer, showcasing her burgeoning talent.
