Biography:

Sheetal Menon is an Indian model and actress hailing from Kerala and Mangalore. She is known for her expertise in Bharatanatyam and Odissi classical dance, having trained under the guidance of Guru Smt. Shobha Menon (Nasik) and Guru Smt. Daksha Mashruwala (Mumbai). Starting her career as a model, Sheetal gained recognition and became a prominent figure in the industry. She was associated with the agency led by Atul Kasbekar and became a face for various renowned lifestyle brands. Additionally, she was selected as a Kingfisher Model in 2005 and 2008.

While pursuing her final year of college, Sheetal joined Anupam Kher’s acting course, Actor Prepares. Her acting debut came in the film “Bhram – An Illusion,” directed by Pawan Kaul and produced by Nari Hira. She has appeared in notable films such as “Shaitan” (2011) directed by Bejoy Nambiar, “Julayi” (2012) in Telugu, and “David” (2013).

Sheetal Menon’s family background includes her father, Mukundan Menon, who served as an officer in the Indian army. Sadly, her father passed away from a heart attack in 1988 while she was just six years old. After her father’s demise, her mother, Premlatha, took up a job in the Indian army in Nashik, Maharashtra, where her father used to serve. Sheetal and her elder sister were raised by their mother.

On 27 December 2015, Sheetal Menon tied the knot with director Bejoy Nambiar in a private wedding ceremony in Kochi, Kerala. Their marriage followed traditional Hindu Malayali customs. According to reports, they first met on the sets of Bejoy’s short film “Rahu” in 2008 and later developed feelings for each other during the shooting of “Shaitan” in 2011. Bejoy, originally from Kerala, primarily works in the Hindi film industry. Prior to marrying Sheetal, Bejoy had been married to Juhi Babbar, the daughter of Bollywood actors Raj Babbar and Nadira Babbar, but they divorced in 2009.

It’s worth mentioning that rumors about Sheetal and Bejoy’s marriage circulated in March 2015, but Bejoy denied them at the time, stating they were baseless. Sheetal Menon’s personal and professional journey continues to showcase her talent, grace, and versatility in the modeling and acting realms.
