Shashant Shah

Biography:

Indian filmmaker Shashant Shah primarily works in Hindi films. Before deciding to pursue a career in direction, Shashant worked as a choreographer. In 2008, Shashant directed his first film, Dasvidaniya, then in 2011, Chalo Dilli. Filmmakers like Pedro Almodóvar and Frank Darabont, as well as his own experiences, serve as inspiration for his movies. Since their time at Channel V, he has worked with actor Vinay Pathak on his first three films. In 2016, he directed his first online series, Shaadi Boys.
