Sharmiela Mandre

Sharmiela Mandre, born on October 28, 1989, is an Indian actress and producer primarily recognized for her contributions in Kannada cinema. Her entry into the acting realm commenced with her debut in “Sajni” (2007), followed by a successful performance in “Krishna” during the same year. Mandre expanded her creative horizons by venturing into production, notably with the Tamil film “Evanukku Engeyo Matcham Irukku” (2018).

Following her initial foray, she garnered acclaim for her roles in Kannada cinema, especially for her work in “Venkata in Sankata” (2009) and “Swayamvara” (2010). She expanded her reach by making her Tamil debut in “Mirattal” (2012) and entering the Telugu film industry with “Kevvu Keka” (2013), which earned her a nomination for the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu. Mandre’s diverse filmography includes notable performances in films like “Aake” (2017) and “Gaalipata 2” (2022), showcasing her versatility as an actress.

Moreover, her paternal aunt, Sunanda Murali Manohar, left her own mark in the film industry as a producer.
