Shantanu Bagchi, born in Calcutta, completed his undergraduate studies in graphic design at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. His fascination with Satyajit Ray began in his early years, having been inspired by the renowned filmmaker since childhood. At the tender age of five or six, Shantanu had the opportunity to meet Ray in person and even had the privilege of acting in Ray’s film “Sonar Kella” as a child artist.
