Sawika Chaiyadech

Biography:

Chaiyadej was born in Bangkok On June 19, 1986,. Her ancestry includes Chinese, English, Indian, Mon, Pakistani, and Thai. Her father is a Muslim, hence she was raised in an Islamic home. Two of Chaiyadej’s older siblings were also in her first lakorn as a youngster. She earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Rangsit University and a master’s degree from Chalermkarnchana University afterwards.

Since she was about 8 years old, Chaiyadej has been involved in the entertainment industry. She made her debut alongside an ape or gorilla in a Sony Trinitron commercial. She first gained notoriety as a teenager, costarring with Veerapaph Suparbpaiboon in the action-adventure film Angkor 2, where she played a princess who had been cursed by a sorcerer.

Chaiyadej is employed in the film industry of South India as well. She debuted in the 2011 Tamil film Markandeyan and starred as the lead female role in the 2014 Telugu film Emo Gurram Egaravachu, which was released on January 24, 2014, opposite well-known actor Sumanth.

She was detained on August 18, 2022, along with her mother Sarinya Chaiyadej and her brother Surayuth Chaiyadej, for allegedly using a “Forex-3D scam” to steal people of money. In this case, there are 9,824 victims and 2.4 billion baht in total damage. Chaiyadej and her mother were detained in the Central Women’s Penitentiary after the Criminal Court denied their request for bail.
