Sapna Mukherjee, a celebrated Bollywood playback singer, etched her name in the industry’s history by winning the prestigious Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the chart-topping song “Tirchi Topi Wale” in the movie Tridev (1989).
Embarking on her musical journey in 1986, Sapna Mukherjee received her initial break when renowned music directors Kalyanji Anandji granted her the opportunity to lend her voice to three songs for the film Janbaaz. However, it was in 1989 that she truly rose to prominence when Kalyanji Anandji selected her to croon “Tirchi Topi Wale” for the film Tridev, a song that would go on to become a massive hit.

The album’s release event was graced by the presence of the legendary Lata Mangeshkar.
