Actor Sanjay Tripathi hails from India. Hisss with Hollywood film director Jennifer Lynch, Mumbai Meri Jaan with director Nishikant Kamat, Raag Desh with director Tigmanshu Dhulia, Myoho with director Ranjan Shandilya, Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga with director Anshul Sharma, Rajjo with Vishwas Patil, Das Capital, Indo British film (Bombairiya) with director Piya Suknya, Hawa Hawaai with Amol Guptey, Bubblegum with Sanjivan Lal, and many more feature films have been directed by him.

He has directed several films and television shows, including The Clouds, which starred the renowned Majid Majidi, Nank Shah Fakeer (a three-time National Award winner), Phillum City (2010), Chokher Bali (a Zee Theater presentation in 2019), In Continue with Guatam, and Toffee with Tahira Kashyap. He has also directed numerous short films and advertisements, including Blood Brother’s, which starred Vishal Bhardwaj, In Continue with Guatam, and Toffee with Tahira Kashyap. Sanjay completed his MA in philosophy at the University of Lucknow.
