Indian actress Sandeepa Dhar had roles in Web series and Hindi movies. Isi Life Mein marked her acting debut in 2010. For her performance in the film, she was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut, Star Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer and Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow. In Dabangg 2, Dhar made a brief appearance. Dhar’s acting in Sajid Nadiadwala’s popular movie Heropanti also won her praise from critics.
Dhar was born into a Kashmiri Pandit family in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. She is a dancer with professional training. She received eight years of Bharatanatyam training from Vani Ganpathy and has won multiple awards for her dancing. She also received four years of instruction in jazz and contemporary music from Terence Lewis and Shiamak Davar.
Dhar was educated at St. Michael’s Convent High School, ITI Mankapur, and at National Public School, Indiranagar. She then graduated from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
