Sam Swainsbury

Biography:

English actor Sam Swainsbury is well-known for his parts as the Stonehenge TV reporter in Thor: The Dark World and Jason in the BBC sitcom Mum. Sam Swainsbury was raised in Halstead, Essex, after being born in Colchester. He went to Holy Trinity School. He took part in workshops at Sudbury’s Quay Theatre.
Swainsbury plays a Stonehenge TV news reporter in the 2013 movie Thor: The Dark World. He played Jason in the BBC sitcom Mum from 2016 until 2019. Swainsbury portrayed Kevin Russell, a 37-year-old man who believes he was wrongfully imprisoned for 14 years for the murder of Linda Simms, in the six-part British crime thriller drama series Fearless in 2017.
