Sadhwi Majumder

Biography:

Sadhwi Majumder, born on February 18, 1998, in Agartala, Tripura, is a renowned Indian choreographer and dancer who has gained recognition through her participation in popular reality shows like “Dance India Dance,” “India’s Best Dancer,” and “India’s Dancing Superstar.”

She received her education at ‘Holy Cross School’ in Agartala and graduated from ‘Mithibai College of Science, Arts and Commerce’ in Mumbai. In her family, she has two siblings, Maggi Vichare, her brother, and Samipa Vichare, her sister. Sadhwi’s journey in dance began at a young age of five when she started her formal training.

Her television debut was in the fifth season of ‘Dance India Dance’ in 2015, where she was mentored by Punit Pathak. Furthermore, Sadhwi has also contributed to the film industry as an assistant choreographer in the movie “Saandh Ki Aankh.”

Sadhwi is known for her YouTube channel, where she shares dance tutorial videos and has garnered a substantial fan base. Her passion extends beyond dance, as she has a profound love for travel.

On the television front, Sadhwi made her debut in the serial ‘Sapno Ki Chhalaang,’ which was produced by Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herum Khot under the banner of Invictus T Mediaworks. The show airs on Sony TV.
