Indian actor Roshan Mathew was born on March 22, 1992, and has appeared in Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam films. His career started with a number of theater productions in Mumbai and Chennai. Among them are Rajit Kapoor’s The Glass Menagerie and Faezeh Jalali’s 07/07/07.
With supporting parts in Aanandam (2016), Koode (2018), and Moothon (2019), Roshan’s career took off after landing his first significant role in the 2016 movie Puthiya Niyamam. He received two SIIMA Awards for the later two. His starring parts in the dramas Kappela (2020) and C U Soon (2021) brought him more recognition. Additionally, Roshan starred in the Hindi movies Darlings (2022) and Choked (2020).
Roshan is from the Indian state of Kerala, namely Changanassery, Kottayam. His mother, Regina Augustine, is a retired PWD engineer, while his father, Mathew Joseph, works as a bank manager at Canara Bank. He attended Kottayam’s Kendriya Vidyalaya for his education.He enrolled in Kochi’s School of Engineering, CUSAT, but left after a year to pursue a B.Sc. in Physics at Chennai’s Madras Christian College. He became interested in performing during his sophomore year of college and enrolled in the Mumbai Drama School after graduating.
